Drupon Thinley 4 Yogi Lama Gursam Brief Bio At the age of six, Lama Gursam entered Drikung Kagyu Monastery in Tso Pema, India, where he completed his basic education and studied Buddhist philosophy, practice, ritual and conduct. In 1981 he began his college education at the Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies (University) in Sarnath, Varnasi, India. He earned his Bachelor's degree in 1988 in the Sanskrit, Hindi, Tibetan, and English languages and in Buddhist philosophy. Pursuing graduate study at the University, he was President of the student union, and served two years as a Kagyu Committee member. In 1990 he received his Master's degree in advanced Buddhist philosophy. Upon graduation he also received a special award from His Holiness the Dalai Lama. After graduation, Lama Gursam was requested by His Holiness Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpoche to come to the Drikung Kagyu Institute in Dehra Dun, India, at a critical time where there was a great lack of teachers and funding for education. There he served as a volunteer for five years, teaching Tibetan language and Buddhist philosophy and history. He also held the posts of Instructor, Head of Examinations, and Assistant Director while serving as secretary to His Holiness Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpoche, the head of the Drikung Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. During this time, he also did a one-year meditation retreat and received Dzogchen teachings and empowerments from Khenchen Thupten Rinpoche and other lamas of the Nyingma lineage. He also studied with Dr. Pema Gyaltsen, a specialist in the Tibetan language. In 1995, Lama Gursam was sent by His Holiness Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpoche to the United States, where he taught Buddhist philosophy for five years. Lama Gursam worked as a resident teacher in a Tibetan Meditation Center, also serving as director of North American Drikung Kagyu Center. Then Lama Gursam met His Eminence Garchen Rinpoche, whom he considers to be the second Milarepa. Under H.E. Garchen Rinpoche's guidance, together with the Venerable Traga Rinpoche, he became a yogi, and in 2002 he completed a traditional three-year retreat in the United States, practicing Mahamudra and the Six Yogas of Naropa. After a nationwide teaching tour, he then traveled to India, Nepal and the border of Tibet, where he completed a six-month retreat in Milarepa's cave at Lapchi. Lama Gursam continues to return every year to India for teachings and retreats, and every year to the United States and Canada to reunite with friends and students for teachings. His current sanghas are located in Vermont, Maryland, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, and Arizona, as well as Montreal and Sault Sainte Marie, Canada. Additionally, every 2-3 years, Lama Gursam leads a pilgrimage to Buddhist holy places in India and Nepal. In 2006, Lama Gursam founded The Bodhichitta Foundation, a U.S. non-profit organization officially recognized by His Holiness Chetsang Rinpoche, head of the Drikung Kagyu lineage. The Bodhichitta Foundation benefits the West with teachings, a future center and retreat land, and the East, preserving ancient texts, Tibetan culture, education, women's rights, and health.

Shenphen Dawa Norbu Rinpoche, will bestow this rarely given and special empowerment at our New York City center. Troma Nagmo, in Sanskrit, Krodhakali, and in English could be rendered as "Wrathful Black Woman" is a wrathful emanation of Yeshe Tsogyal, the first Tibetan to attain full enlightenment and the one who hid these teachings for future generations. Wang, abhisheka, or empowerment, is a Vajrayana Buddhist ceremony that authorizes the student to practice on a particular Buddhist deity. In this case, this wang will authorize the recipient to practice the Troma cycle of Dudjom Lingpa, including the practices of Chod, Lujin, and Troma feast offerings. It is very important for those who are doing Chod and Troma practices to receive this empowerment, if they have not already. Of course, the wang is only the beginning. Interested students must follow this authorization with the proper lung, or oral transmission, and mengak, or instructions, on the particular sadhanas (liturgies) within the Troma cycle of Dudjom Lingpa that they would like to practice. " The completion stage practices can be divided in six stages: 1. Individual Withdrawal: cutting off the individual vital energies in the 6 sense organs and the spheres of sensory perception. Arisal of "body of empty form". 2. Yoga of Dhyana: essentially samadhi combining insight and shamatha. It establishes divine pride in the empty form body. 3. Yoga of Energy Control: arresting the flow of energies in the right and left channel using vajra recitation and tummo. Gives rise to the four joys descending from above. 4. Yoga of Retention: using vase breathing to blend the main energies, the mind and the empty body at each of the chakras. Achieve the four joys of (the drops) ascending from below. 5. Yoga of Subsequent Mindfulness: practice with a mudra to achieve unchanging bliss. 6. Yoga of Samadhi: bringing the white and red substances respectively to the tip of the jewel and the crown and retaining them. This causes a flash of stabilised bliss, that causes one of our 21,600 factors responsible for our coarse form to dissolve. Simultaneously, one of the 21,600 karmic energies are halted. Stacking 21,600 of white, male drops in a column from the tip of the jewel to the crown, and similarly stacking 21,600 of red, female drops in a column from the crown to the tip of the jewel causes one to achieve the state of Kalachakra. " Completion Stage reference click here. *** The Berzin Archives contain excellent resources on Kalachakra but do not contain the specific information related to this Kalachakra Empowerment or Completion Stage Instructions. Despite this there is a great wealth of Dharma knowledge here about Kalachakra. *** It is important to note this is a Kalachakra Empowerment and Practice text of the Drikung Kagyu lineage. The Completion Stage instructions are concise and special to the Drikung Lineage also. The Practice text has been translated and we hope to have the Completion Stage Practice Instructions translated for this event. *** Previously given in this cycle of Empowerments was Guhyasamaja and Chakrasamvara and we hope later in 2012 to complete this cycle with the Hevajra Empowerment and Completion Stage Instructions. *** One of the unique qualities of this cycle of four empowerments composed by Rigzin Chokyi Dragpa is the practical nature of the sadhana and Completion Stage instructions which give the essence of these profound practices. The teachings on this text will be a rare opportunity to receive an introduction to the heart of the ancient vajrayana practices of the Kalchakra Completion Stage. Without Bodhicitta our practice is not Dharma Practice. There is no higher teaching. These are the most essential teachings to understand and put into practice. Time: 7 PM Sug. Don. $20 Location: Burnham Hall, Lincoln, VT Friday, June 15 Yangzab Dorje Drollo Empowerment This empowerment was given by Ontul Rinpoche ten years ago and at the conclusion of the empowerment Lho Ontul Rinpoche founded the DDCV and set forth the Turning of the Wheel of Dharma. Since that evening ten years ago a whole spectrum of Dharma teachings and empowerment's have been given at the DDCV, everything from the Foundation practices to the pith instructions on Mahamudra and the highest Dzogchen teachings of Trekcho and Thogyal. The power and energy of Dorje Drollo helped clear away the obstacles that try to prevent Dharma teachings. So it is very auspicious on our ten year anniversary to have Rinpoche give this profound and rarely given empowerment from the Yangzab Treasure teachings. The Yangzab Dorje Drollo practice is one of the most powerful practices within the Yangzab Treasure Cycle. It was practiced by many great practitioners which included also the 5th Dalai Lama. This practice is very affective in dispelling obstacles, both worldly, as well as the obstacles that prevent practitioners from recognizing and stabilizing the recognition of Minds True Nature. Time: 7 PM Sug. Don. $30 Location: Burnham Hall, Lincoln, VT Saturday-Sunday, June 16-17 Trekcho Dzogchen Pith Practice Instructions: Garab Dorje's Three Words that Strike the Vital Point Lho Ontul Rinpoche for the first time give these precious teachings which were given to him by the great Dzogchen Master Khunu Rinpoche. The Great Perfection, or Dzogchen, is considered the most direct path to awakening in the Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. This radically direct approach points out the mind's fundamental nature of luminous purity. Once this nature has been recognized and experienced, problems and negativity automatically dissolve, leaving the open space of pure awareness, in which the qualities of enlightenment spontaneously unfold. Garap Dorje was one of the first masters of the Great Perfection lineage. His final teaching - Three Words that Strike the Vital Point - is one of the most important teachings on the Great Perfection. These pithy instructions offer clear guidance on recognizing the mind's innate purity and making this recognition a living experience through repeated familiarization. Time: 10-12 $ 2:30-5 PM Sug. Don. $100 Location: Burnham Hall, Lincoln, VT Tuesday, June 19 Yangzab Tsewang Dzinpa Empowerment: The Guru Who Holds Power Over Life In perilous times, it is essential to have a strong connection to the Guru, and the Higher Worlds. In Tibetan Buddhism, the connection to Guru Rinpoche, or Padmasambhava has long been considered essential for receiving all forms of benefit, including, but not limited to: * Cultivating Prosperity, longevity and health * Peaceful conditions, such as cultivating positive qualities. * Purification from obstacles, emotional afflictions and mental obscurations *Wrathful cleansing and blessings * Forceful connection The Empowerment of the Guru Who Holds Power Over Life opens the gateway within oneself to the practice which clears obstacles, not only for one's own mind and heart but that of the world. This is called Guru Tsewang Dzinpa practice, but all one need to know is that it will create a strong connection to the Guru. In this practice, one visualizes oneself in a wrathful(protective and cleansing) form of the Guru Padmasambhava. The practice is done from the perspective of the Dzogchen teachings and helps one overcome all obstacles to meditation or spiritual practice, leading to the achievement of a longer life. Ultimately, this practice catalyzes swift enlightenment through the process of merging one's own mind with the Guru of awareness. Time: 7 PM Sug. The general purpose of the offering is to remove obstacles to enlightenment by removing stains left by ordinary unwholesome actions, especially broken vows, samayas, pledges, and promises. It helps to prevent all inauspicious circumstances. The Yangzab Fire Puja has not been performed publicly before in the West. The text has been translated for this auspicious occasion. The first Ontul Rinpoche in the Drikung lineage was the older brother of Lho Nuden Dorje. This is a very special Amitabha empowerment and practice as Amitabha and Chenrezig are combined in this practice. This practice also has an activity mantra where you engage in the peaceful activities of Amitabha. This mantra is especially helpful for helping those who have died in the Bardo or any suffering beings for that matter. For this event we have had the complete cycle of this Amitabha practice translated. This practice can be done in a concise way or it can be done in a more extensive way in retreat or as a Drubchen. Lho Ontul Rinpoche does this practice every year at his Monastery. This Amitabha practice has not been given in this way before in the West. It is a practice that practitioners of all levels can accomplish and bring great benefit to others as well as themselves. Rinpoche travelled into India during 1962 where during this time until 1965 Rinpoche did retreat and studied with Khenpo Thubten (introduced to him by the highly realized yogini Drikung Khandro Neni Rinpoche), in the holy place of Tsopema, India. During 1965 Rinpoche and a group of practitioners established a spiritual community in the hill station of Dharamsala and did practice in a simple tent. During the first ceremony in Tsopema on Guru Rinpoche Day (Tsechu) they pitched the tent and performed pujas next to the holy lake of Tsopema. During 1965 Rinpoche and the community invited Khenpo Thubten to give teachings and studied with him until 1970. From there he travelled into Ladakh, India in 1970 on a teaching tour and bestowed empowerments on the Himalayan Buddhist peoples. Through the offerings received he purchased land in Tsopema and started construction of Wogmin Thubten Shedrup Ling Monastery in 1971. Ontül Rinpoche received Mahamudra and Dzogchen teachings from H.H. Dalai Lama, H.H. Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpoche, H.H. Dudjom Rinpoche, H.H. Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, Yogi Pachung Rinpoche, Polu Khenchen Dorje, Ven. Khunu Lama Tenzin Gyaltsen, Kyabje Kalu Rinpoche, Khenpo Khedrup Rinpoche and others. From the yogi Chyunga Rinpoche, Ontül Rinpoche received teachings and his personal instructions on the Drigung Kagyu Five-Fold Profound Path of Mahamudra. In the years which followed, Ontül Rinpoche went to Drigung Kagyu Monasteries in Ladakh where he received most of the important empowerments, instructions and oral transmissions of the Drigung Kagyu tradition from H.E. Choje Togden Rinpoche. It is a rare privilege to meet such a qualified spiritual master who is accessible to practitioners who wish to genuinely embark on the spiritual path. Ontul Rinpoche lives with his wife, Khandro Tashi Drolma together with their son Karma Ratna Rinpoche (an emanation of Nuden Dorje), and their family in Wogmin Thubten Shedrup Ling Gompa next to the Lotus Lake, Tsopema. Ven. Ontül Rinpoche holds both the unbroken lineages of the Maha Mudra and Maha Ati transmission of Drigung Kagyu and Nyingma. Rinpoche is a well known Dzogchen Master who has the blessings from His Holiness Dalai Lama, H.H. 16th Gyalwa Karmapa and His Holiness Drigung Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpoche and has many students all over the world and generously sharing precious Dharma to those interested in learning and practicing. Suraj: Drupon Thinley Ningpo Hevajra Completion Stage Retreat Yangzab Three Roots Empowerment Hevajra Empowerment Co-Emergent Great Bliss Completion Stage Teachings Tummo & Channels/Winds/Drops Pith Instructions July 19-22, 2012 Bristol, Vermont ------------------------------------ Thursday, July 19 Yangzab Three Roots Empowerment: Dharmakaya Guru Rinpoche/Yeshe Tsogyal Hayagriva & Vajravarahi This empowerment is the gateway to the Yangzab Treasure Teaching Cycle. It was revealed as part of an extensive Earth Treasure which was revealed by Drikung Rinchen Phuntsok. It is a profound practice where the Lama, Yidam and Dakini are all accomplished in the same practice. Drikung Rinchen Phuntsok not only revealed this as an Earth Treasure but also had a Pure Vision where he went to Guru Rinpoches Copper Covered Mountain Pure Land and received this empowerment directly from Guru Rinpoche. For all who wish to connect with the Yangzab Dzogchen Treasure teachings this empowerment is essential. It contains great blessings and opens the doorway to traversing the complete path of Dzogchen from the preliminary practices all the way to the highest Dzogchen practices of Trekcho and Thogal. Time: 7 PM Sug. Don. $30 Location: 2 Elm St. Bristol, VT Friday, July 20 Hevajra/Nairatmya Co-Emergent Bliss Empowerment Drupon Thinley Ningpo will be giving a the concise version of the Hevajra empowerment based on a empowerment root text composed by Drikung Rigzin Chokyi Dragpa the 1st Chuntsang Rinpoche. In this empowerment Hevajra and his consort have two arms and the practice is focused on accomplishing the Completion Stage Practices. The sadhana or practice text is concise and not difficult to practice. Hevajra, also known as the "King of Tantras," ranks among the most important Tantras of the highest Yoga Tantra class. According to the Kagyu system of tantra classification Shri Hevajra belongs to the 'Wisdom-mother' Anuttarayoga tantra. It is a special transmission and is rarely given. In the Kagyu tradition it is was handed down by Marpa (1012-1097), the great translator. The Hevajra Tantra was transmitted by Marpa as part of a series of Tantras that became known as the Seven Mandalas of Ngok to one of his four main disciples, Ngok Chöku Dorje (1036-1106). This tradition was primarily upheld by the Drikung Kagyu lineage. To save these teachings from oblivion, Jamgön Kongtrul Lodrö Thaye (1813-1899) combined them with other teachings of Marpa to form the Kagyu Ngag Dzö (bka' brgyud sngags mdzod, 'The Kagyu Treasury of Oral Instructions'). His Holiness Drikung Chetsang Rinpoche holds the transmissions of the Hevajra Tantra of both the Sakyapa and the Kagyupa traditions, thus carrying on the great impartial Rime tradition of Jamgön Kongtrul Lodrö Thaye and Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo (1820-1892). For the last 300 years the practice of Hevajra was not a major focus in the Drkung lineage but HH Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang recognizing it's importance to the lineage, has stated that it is important to re-establish this tradition in all Drikung Kagyu monasteries and centers. Hevajra was the Yidam Deity of the great Marpa, who is the founder of the Kagyu Tradition. Drupon Thinley Ningpo has received extensive Hevajra teachings and Empowerments from HH Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang so this will indeed be a great blessing to receive this profound Hevajra Empowerment from Drupon-la. In this practice Hevajra has two-arms and is in union with Vajra Nairatmya. The empowerment and sadhana come from a collection of four key annutarayoga tantra deities (Guhyasamaja, Chakrasamvara, Kalacakra, and Hevajra) put together by the Drigung Kagyu master Rigdzin Chokyi Dragpa. Time: 7 PM Sug. Don. $30 Location: 2 Elm St. Bristol, VT Saturday-Sunday, July 21-22 Hevajra Completion Stage Teachings: Tummo, the Channels, Winds & Drops & Co-Emergent Great Bliss The Hevajra Section of the Essential Meaning of the Annutarayoga Tantra Completion Stage, the Profound Upadesha By Rigdzin Chökyi Dragpa This Completion stage text reveals the essence of the Kagyu tradition of practicing the Hevajra completion stage. The Completion Stage text text by Rigdzin Chökyi Dragpa was designed specifically to compliment the generation stage sadhana of Hevajra with the Hevajra completion stage practices. These teachings include very important practical teachings on the Completion Stage including practices on engaging in consort practice. The sadhana practice composed by Rigzin Chokyi Drakpa comes from the tradition of the great Mahasiddha Shantipa and contains in clear direct language the practices of Tummo, Consort Practice, the Four Joys and Co-Emergent Great Bliss. The commentary text on the Completion Stage makes these practices explicitly clear. This Retreat will be the final fruition of a cycle of Completion Stage Practices that Drupon-la began teaching on two years ago. It is very auspicious that Drupon-la will be giving these teachings at a time when HH Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang is reviving the Hevajra teachings with the Drikung Lineage. Suraj: drupon thinley 4 Drupon Thinley Ningpo Thursday, December 6 Yangzab Amitayus Long Life Empowerment Drupon Trinley Ningpo will be bestowing the long life Amitayus Empowerment form the Extremely Profound Intention of the Sublime Dharma transmitted by Guru Padmasambhava discovered by Drigung Rinchen Phuntsog. This particular Amitayus empowerment is unique in that it introduces one to the outer, inner, and secret aspects of immortality. One is introduced to the true immortal vajra body essence of one's own present form together with the male and female Buddha's of the five families abiding in the five cakras. This empowerment also serves as the gateway to the three aspects long life practice associated with this empowerment. There is an outer practice whereby one does the meditation and recitation of the Buddha Amitayus. There is an inner practice where one works with the subtle energies of prana in order to attain immortality and tame one's mind. Finally, there is the secret practice, wherein one utilizes the skillful means of union with a consort to attain common accomplishments such as immortality and the ability to perform the enlightened activites as well as the supreme accomplishment of Buddhahood. Time: 7 PM Sug. Don. $30 Location: 2 Elm St. Bristol, VT Friday, December 7 Yangzab Amitayus Practice Instructions Drupon Thinley Ningpo will be giving the practice instructions for the Yangzab Long Life & Healing Practices. Time: 2:30 -5 PM PM Sug. Don. $25 Location: 2 Elm St. Bristol, VT Niguma sm Friday-Sunday, December 7-9 Niguma's Wisdom Dakini Teachings: Stages in the Path of Illusion Niguma is considered as one of most important and highly appreciated tantric yogini or Vajrayana Buddhist lady- teachers (dakinis). There are few certain facts about her life. She was born 10th century in Kashmir in rich Brahmin family and according to different sources was sister or consort of Naropa. It's said that her Buddhist realization originates directly from Buddha Vajradhara. Her main student was Tibetan meditation master Khyungpo Naljor, who traveled to India to receive transmission of her teachings. Later on he became founder of Shangpa Kagyu lineage. This mysterious Kashmiri woman from the 10-11 centuries is known as Niguma, the Dakini of Timeless Awareness, and she is the only woman whose teachings became the source of a lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. She is said to have attained the Rainbow Body and many great Masters have seen her in visions or dreams over the last 1000 years. Her teachings have influenced and been incorporated into many different schools of Tibetan Buddhism. Not only is she herself ethereal, as befits a dakini, but most of the works attributed to her seem to focus on illusion. Her practices of the Six Dharmas emphasize illusory body and dream yoga, and her only lengthy treatise is called "Stages in the Path of Illusion. This weekends retreat will will be a rare opportunity to study her essential work "Stages in the Path of Illusion". Drupon Trinley Ningpo received these precious teachings from HH Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpoche and this will be the first time he has taught on them publicly. Friday - Time: 7 PM Sat-Sun-Time: 10-12 and 2:30-5 PM Both Days Sug. Don. $120 Location: 2 Elm St. Bristol, VT Monday, December 10 Niguma's Amulet of Mahamudra Below is how the great Jamgon Kontrol Rinpoche described Niguma's Amulet of Mahamudra teachings: "The vajra lines of the instruction on the essential meaning of no mental engagement were highly valued by the scholar-adept Khyungpo, such that he rolled up the paper and inserted it into a heart*like Nepalese amulet box, which he tied it around his neck. Thus it is known as the "Amulet Mahamudra." In the preliminary of the threefold letting-go, one cultivates calm abiding and higher insight. In the main practice, the descent of vajra timeless awareness points out [minds nature] in a sneaky way (the burglar method), and by means of the liberation of the four faults in their own ground, one becomes resolved about mind itself. In the concluding practice, one maintains the state of the naturally arisen three kayas and relies on the extraordinary enhancement and obstruction-clearing practices. Thus, it is the heart of all teachings of sutra and tantra, the pith of all esoteric instruction, and the actualization of the natural liberation of the four kayas in mahamudra". Time: 10 - 4 PM Sug. Suraj: Drupon Thinley Ningpo Chakrasamvara Bliss & Practical Wisdom Retreat Bestowing the Two Supreme Benefits Pith Generation & Completion Stage Instructions December 6-9, 2013 Bristol, Vermont Saturday, December 7 Chakrasamvara/Vajravarahi Supreme Bliss Empowerment The practice of Chakrasamvara, or the 'Supreme Wheel of Bliss', is one of the most important mother tantra practices. It has been practiced both widely in India and Tibet by many Mahasiddhas and continues to be practiced to this very day. This particular empowerment is of the Chakrasamvara from the tradition of Ghantapa, an Indian Mahasiddha. Drupon Trinley will be giving the extensive empowerment which is rarely given. Through the accomplishment of this practice one can awaken and benefit oneself and others on many levels, from worldly activities to pinnacle of ultimate spiritual realization. This practice provides the skillful means to transform all aspects of worldly life including sexual union into Dharma practice. Time: 9:30-5 PM Sug. Don. $50 Location: 2 Elm St. Bristol, VT Sunday-Monday, December 8-9 Bestowing the Two Supreme Benefits: Pith Generation & Completion Stage Instructions On Rinchen Phuntsogs Sadhana of the Five Coemergent Deities of Glorious Bhagavan Chakrasamvara This is one of the most important practices within Vajrayana Buddhism. Drupon-la will give the transmission for this practice as well as pith instructions on the meaning of Generation Stage practice. Drupon will bring these teachings down to the level where we can understand how they can be integrated into daily life so that we can be of greater benefit to sentient beings. Drupon-la will also share some of the special and unique Completion Stage instructions of the practice of Chakrasamvara and Vajravarahi in Union, as well as the Dakinis of Pacifying, Increasing, Magnetizing and Wrathful Activities which make up Chakrasamvaras retinue. These teachings include very important practical teachings on the Completion Stage including practices on engaging in consort practice. Once a practitioner is stable in their practice it is possible to work with the subtle energy body with a consort. This text reveals the essence of the Kagyu tradition of practicing the Chakrasamvara completion stage. Such instructions are widely known as the Five Stages of Arising. These five stages represent vital elements to the entire formula of tantric Buddhism and were practiced and commented on widely throughout India and Tibet. The five stages of the Chakrasamvara completion stage are based on the commentary composed by the Indian Mahasiddha Ghatapada, who wrote the earliest known Completion Stage commentary on the practice of Chakrasamvara. The teachings on this text will be a rare opportunity to receive an introduction to the heart of the ancient vajrayana practices of the completion stage. It will be a great blessing to receive these teachings from Drupon-la who has a unique ability to teach to Westerners regardless of what stage they are at, be the new or more experienced practitioners. These teachings will also be of great benefit to anyone engaged in any Vajrayana Deity practice. Time: 9:30-5 PM Both Days Sug. Suraj: Phurba Purti Rephung Wang ...the wang about to be given by the visiting Bhutanese rebirth of Dudjom Rinpoche in NYC on Sat. 17 Dec: the Phurba Purti Rephung Wang at 2pm. The event will take place at~ Yeshe Nyingpo Center . 19 W 16 St, Between 5th and 6th Avenue . New York N.Y. 10011 Please contact ~ Kelley at 212-6918523 for further information. Ynyingpo@aol.com Those living in or visiting the region should make the effort to attend. Elizabeth Selandia ====================================== A message from my Father to all fellow Dharma Brothers and Sisters ~ H. H. Yangsi Tenzin Yeshe Dorje, for the benefit of all parent sentient beings, will confer the Putri Repung (Vajrakilaya) empowerment in New York , which was one of the principal terma discovered by my father H. H. Dudjom Rinpoche. This treasure was discovered in the tiger's cave in Paro Taktsang (Bhutan) after His Holiness's retreat there where he had a vision leading to the revelation of this phurba teaching from Dakini Yeshe Tsogyal who told him that his father Guru Rinpoche gave her this phurba to give to him. Later that morning while in the cave, a bird flew in with the dakini's golden scroll in its beak and dropped it in front of His Holiness. This terma of kalaya was more elaborate than Dudjom Lingpa's phurba Namchak Putri revelation, but His Holiness seeing at that period in time that we were unable to accomplish all these practices, revealed only one volume. In fact, I remember His Holiness said to me that he had over 500 volumes he could have revealed. So I can say from the bottom of my heart take this opportunity at this auspicious moment to receive this empowerment from the Dudjom Yangsi RInpoche which will not only extend your life but will also bring peace, prosperity, harmony, and wellbeing for yourself and all other parent sentient beings All my blessings, Dungsey Shenphen Dawa Norbu Rinpoche

There he had the realization that the root of the entire universe of samsara and nirvana is the Guru of your own mind. Falling asleep in such a state, he had a pure vision of Jigten Sumgön, the founder of the Drigung Kagyü, who taught him the Profound Path of Accomplishing the Guru Cycle in his dreams. In this cycle of practice one accomplishes the outer guru of the Buddha Shakyamuni, the inner guru of Vajradhara, the secret guru of the father Indestructible Bliss (Dewai Dorje, Vajrasukha) in union with the mother Indestructible Emptiness, and the ultimate Guru that is realized through merging your mind with the mind of your root guru inseparable from Jigten Sumgön. This cycle also contains extensive teachings on the subtle channels, winds, essences, inner fire practices, yogic exercises, karmamudra, and ultimate mahamudra completion stage instructions. The rare empowerment of the Dewai Dorje is the gateway to all the practices of this profound pure vision cycle.
